The Fort Smith Curling and Winter Sport Centre (FSCWSC) is a non-profit society incorporated under the Societies Act of the Northwest Territories. The objective of the society is to promote curling by all ages in Fort Smith, NWT; to encourage other winter sports and recreational activities for club members; and to develop activities for youth that encourage healthy living.
The FSCWSC is run by volunteers are who have a passion for curling. For more than 40 years, our volunteers have promoted curling in Fort Smith, managed the club, maintained ice, operated the lounge, coached, and organized bonspiels. Fort Smith volunteers have represented our club, Fort Smith, the Northwest Territories and Canada as athletes, coaches, officials and board members. We have hosted local, territorial, national and international bonspiels.
Curling has always been a popular sport in Fort Smith. We always encourage everyone to come out and join… regardless of your skill level. If you want to learn to curl, please contact us and we would love to teach you.
